PLUM SYRUP!


Ok, so this started out as a way to use up 2 plums that I had.
It turned it to amazingness.
I will end up putting the full bottle into the freezer to save for later.

This recipe makes 2 cups.


    2 plums
    1/4c pineapple
    1/4c strawberries
    1 1/2c sugar
    1 1/2c water
    1t lime zest
    2T cornstarch
    Just a little bit of water to thin cornstarch

  1. Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil.
  2. Pour syrup thru strainer and mash the fruit. (I used a potato ricer and the pineapple wouldn't mash but still got flavor out).
  3. Put back on stove and bring to boil.
  4. Whisk in cornstarch to thicken syrup.
